Caribana Festival

Caribana Festival 2026 is one of Switzerland’s most popular summer music festivals, taking place from 17–20 June 2026 in the picturesque lakeside village of Crans, near Nyon. Set on the shores of Lake Geneva, the festival offers four days of live music featuring international and Swiss artists across pop, rock, electronic, and rap genres, all in a friendly and intimate atmosphere.

Main line-up highlights: Kendji Girac & M. Pokora (Wednesday), Mika & Louane (Thursday), Niska & Soolking (Friday), and Lost Frequencies & Purple Disco Machine (Saturday). Four days of live music by Lake Geneva in a unique festival setting.

Paléo Festival 2026 is Switzerland’s largest open-air music festival, held in Nyon from 21–26 July 2026. Set on the Plaine de l’Asse just outside town, the festival welcomes more than 200 concerts and performances across six days, featuring international headliners, emerging artists, world music, food villages, and a vibrant festival atmosphere.

Main line-up highlights : Twenty One Pilots and Lorde (Tuesday), The Cure and Feu! Chatterton (Wednesday), Gorillaz and Amelie Lens (Thursday), Orelsan and Gims (Friday), Katy Perry and Morcheeba (Saturday), and Timmy Trumpet and Gims (Sunday).

Roman Museum, Nyon – two thousand years of history explained

The museum, installed in the foundations of the basilica, 1st century A.D., presents a great number of objects bearing witness to the life of inhabitants of the Colonia Iula Equestris.

Zoo of la Garenne, Le Vaud – wolves, lynx and foxes allow you to discover their universe

More than 20 kinds of daytime and nocturnal birds of prey live alongside numerous other birds. Mammals such as wolves, lynx and foxes will allow you to discover their universe. Tintin in Nyon – and the disappearance of Professor Calculus

The Calculus affair was published by Hergé in 1956. One of the greatest comic strip cartoonists of the 20th century had chosen Switzerland, and in particular Nyon, to add spice to the plot of the disappearance of Professor Calculus. Moreover, this character is inspired by the scientist Auguste Piccard, grandfather of Bertrand Piccard,
himself a Tintin lover !
